Tetrad Discovery causes a stir at Science Jamboree!!

28th June 2015

Tetrad Discovery for the third year running has  been demonstrating how exciting science can be at the annual Discovery Park science jamboree.  Over two days, nearly 2000 year 6 children from local schools attended the site to see a number of demonstrations and a science show.  Tetrad Discovery showed lots of ‘cool science’ including gunpowder, explosions, melting people and screaming jelly babies.

Tetrad Discovery was fortunate to have a collaborator for the event, Rohini Chohan who engaged the children and really sparked their enthusiasm.  Children were heard saying that they wanted to be scientists and that they never knew science was so cool.

Despite the team being exhausted from entertaining 24 groups of 15 children over two days, a great time was had by all and we really hope that we will be inspiring scientists of the future!!
